Embossed 2-axis stretched PET film *Application examples available

Various functions such as thermal insulation and concealment can be added with embossed processing. Introducing over 10 examples of embossed processing applications.

Our company performs embossing processing to impart functionalities such as anti-adhesion and condensation prevention to biaxially oriented PET films. By creating unevenness on the film surface, we can provide functionality and design to the film, transforming it into a functional film that leverages the characteristics of conventional biaxially oriented PET. This is a technique made possible by specializing in embossing processing for biaxially oriented PET, which is considered difficult to process among materials. Embossed films are used in a wide variety of products, including those for FPD applications such as liquid crystal backlight reflection and separator use. Additionally, our embossing can be applied even to silicone-coated products and those treated with PP or fluorine coatings. We offer more than 70 different patterns to choose from, ranging from fine patterns to dynamic designs, allowing you to select a pattern that suits your application. Currently, we are providing materials that introduce examples of embossing applications. **Application Examples** - Lightweight and rigid cushioning and protective materials - Visual obstruction films for window glass - Improved release properties for separators *For other application examples and details, please refer to the PDF materials. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.*

[Technical Documentation] A Comprehensive Guide to Embossing! An Explanation of the Basics of Embossing.

"What are the achievements of embossing and the materials used? What are the effects of embossing?" A book you want to read before requesting embossing. *Currently available for free.

Our company specializes in embossing plastic films. Embossing is a processing method that creates designs and textures on the surface of plastic films. By using heat and pressure, patterns and text are pressed onto the film's surface, forming the desired textures. This allows us to change the appearance and tactile feel of the film, which can be used for decorative or functional purposes. Additionally, our company focuses on embossing "stretch films," which are considered difficult to mold, and by utilizing the strength of the material, we can achieve added value that cannot be realized with other materials. What are the effects of embossing? ■ Improved tactile feel The creation of textures on the film's surface enhances the tactile experience. In specific applications, it can provide anti-slip effects and improved grip. ■ Enhanced functionality Certain embossing patterns can improve functionality. For example, in food packaging, embossing can enhance breathability, helping to maintain the freshness of the food. Currently, we are offering a simple document summarizing the effects of embossing, starting with familiar examples.

Embossed film matte processing (biaxially oriented PET film)

Different from "Nerikomi Mat," "Coating Mat," and "Sand Mat"! A new proposal to solve "Insufficient Mat Roughness" - "Embossed Mat"!

Unlike flat film surfaces or glossy finishes with shine, a matte-finished surface conveys a calm and subdued atmosphere. Matte processing involves roughening the surface to scatter light, transforming its appearance to a matte finish. There are various types of matte, such as "blending," "coating," and "sand," each used in different situations according to their purpose. However, a common issue heard is the complaint that "the roughness of the matte is insufficient." With "Embossed Matte," it is possible to adjust the roughness by changing the mold. It allows for a rough matte finish that cannot be achieved with other matte methods. Additionally, "Embossed Matte" is a technique that directly incorporates matte-like unevenness into the film substrate, so there are no concerns about additives from coating synthetic resins containing fillers like those in "Coating Matte," or residual sand like in "Sand Matte." Of course, by adding "Embossed Matte" to pre-treated films such as "Blending Matte," "Sand Matte," and "Coating Matte," collaboration between various matte types and embossed matte is also possible.

[New Arrival] Three types of embossed check patterns! Sample provision is also underway!

Overcrowding... silicone-free... improvement of slip properties... We will solve your problems with a lattice pattern!

Do you have any of these "troubles"? - The film you are using is "overly adhered" and won't come off... - You want release properties but don't want to use "silicone"... - You want to improve "slip properties"... Perhaps an embossed film could solve these issues! The newly released "grid pattern embossed film" offers a reduction in contact area due to increased surface area from its texture, which can contribute to improving your productivity in various applications such as: - Anti-adhesion applications for products that tend to overly adhere - Separator applications with control of light and heavy release due to the grid shape - Transport process paper applications with added slip properties due to reduced friction from increased surface area This new model features the popular "grid" pattern. Additionally, we can create separators with enhanced release performance by combining it with various release coatings such as silicone or fluorine coatings. If you are interested, please contact us.

[New Arrival] 60° Houndstooth Dot Pattern! Limited-time sample offer available!

Uneven shapes for release effect!? - Poor release properties of release paper... - Sticking and won't come off... Recommended for those struggling with film selection!!

Are you experiencing any of the following issues with the film you are using? - The film sticks and won't come off when resin is applied... - The film is soft and stretches... - You're using a silicone separator, but the release force is insufficient... - Light release separators cause lateral misalignment... These kinds of problems... might be solved with the new 60° houndstooth dot design!! 【Aim of the 60° Houndstooth Dot Pattern】 By transferring the surface shape of our embossed film to the resin, it is used to prevent excessive adhesion and reduce friction due to a decrease in contact area. With the 60° houndstooth dot, we believe that the consistent distance in the pattern structure, regardless of the pattern direction, can reduce the differences in performance based on contact and release directions. By improving the surface area through the uneven shape, we can provide effects to the film such as: - Prevention of excessive adhesion due to reduced contact area with the target object - Reduction of friction - Enhancement of slip properties Additionally, we have more information regarding embossing on our website, so if you're interested, please take a look.

Embossed transfer application for ultraviolet (UV) curable resin [Resin transfer]

By transferring the embossed shape, functionality is added to the resin. Add value to the resin surface with the combination of 【resin】 and 【embossing】!

Our embossed film is used for shape transfer applications onto resins. In the combination of hard resins such as UV-curable resins and FRP with embossing, it is possible to transfer the embossed shape onto the resin, thereby imparting design features and reducing the visibility of scratches on the resin surface. This makes it suitable for construction materials such as wall and floor materials. *The photo shows the shape transferred onto UV-curable resin (UV resin) using embossed film. By transferring shapes onto the resin, we can impart the following features: - Design features (aesthetic appeal) on the surface - Scratch prevention through reduced friction (decreased contact area) - Fingerprint resistance and dirt prevention Our embossed film utilizes a strong biaxially stretched PET film as the material, allowing for use as a rigid process paper that cannot be achieved with softer films. *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

How to Use Embossing Film [Release Properties Improvement Edition]

If you're having trouble with film sticking and not coming off... and want to remove it easily, we recommend this! A4 samples are available for shipping!

Our company performs embossing on biaxially oriented PET film. Embossed film is used with the aim of improving release properties. By adding texture to a flat film surface through embossing, it is possible to enhance the release performance by adjusting the contact area with the object. Embossing is effective in addressing challenges such as, "Flat films have poor release properties and won't peel off..." and "If it could be peeled off easily, we could improve yield significantly..." Our embossing process can also be applied to release-treated films such as silicone, PP-coated, and fluorine-coated films. We can create process papers with the desired release properties. The effectiveness varies depending on the pattern and shape. Customers can choose from over 80 different embossing patterns that are closest to their preferences. *If desired, we can also create a custom version. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
